the right powder for the intended use
mectron PROPHY POWDER consists of sodium bicarbonate and is meant to be used supra-gingivally to remove heavily stained areas due to its coarser grain. The PERIO POWDER is a gentle glycine based formulation meant to be used supra-gingivally to remove biofilm and stains, as well as sub-gingivally in periodontal pockets. It can be used on most surfaces without risk of scratches.

AIR POLISHING
supra and subgingival
You can simply switch during the treatment between supra and subgingival air polishing by pressing prophy or perio button.

Once the unit is switched on, the tubing is cleared by a permanent light air stream.

Always easy access - 90° and 120° angled nozzles for supra- and subgingival use in periodontal pockets up to 5 mm depth. The perio nozzle equipped with the disposable sterile Subgingival Perio Tip provides optimal access in pockets deeper than 5 mm. All nozzles simply click in and out of the handpiece - for a fast nozzle change.
